Barbed Wire is a type of security fencing made by twisting high-strength steel wires with sharp barbs at regular intervals. Advantages of using Barbed Wire

1. Security and Protection: The sharp barbs of barbed wire serve as a strong deterrent, effectively discouraging intruders. For this reason, it is commonly used for perimeter fencing in industrial areas, construction sites, agricultural fields, prisons, and other high-security zones.

Three ways of twisting the barbed wire

Positive twisting, reverse twisting, positive and negative twisting.
Positive twist method: that is, two or more iron wires are twisted into two strands of wire rope and then the barbed rope is wound on the two strands of wire.
Reverse twist method: It is to wrap the neb wire around the main wire (that is, a single wire) and then add an iron wire to twist and weave it into two strands of barbed rope.
Positive and negative twist method: it is twisted in the opposite direction from the direction of the main wire winding. It’s not a twist in one direction.

Barbed Wire Surface treatment Craftsmanship

Galvanized steel wire and PVC-coated iron wire are available in multiple colors such as blue, green, and yellow.
Galvanized barbed wire can be produced with either electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized finishes for enhanced durability.
PVC-coated barbed wire undergoes a surface plastic-coating process, while the core wire can be black iron wire, electro-galvanized wire, or hot-dip galvanized wire.

The main function of plastic-coated barbed wire is to prevent unauthorized entry or crossing of specific areas. It can be installed on fences, railings, and walls to create a strong protective barrier. If someone attempts to climb over, the sharp PVC-coated barbs will pierce the skin, providing both deterrence and protection.
