Grating Clips Description

Grating clips are specially designed fasteners made from high-quality steel plates, processed by bending and punching to ensure strength and durability. After galvanizing, the clips not only look aesthetically pleasing but also provide excellent rust resistance and long-lasting stability. They offer a reliable and convenient method for fixing steel grating.

Steel gratings can be installed using two methods: welding or clip fastening. Welding is recommended for permanent installations where removal is unnecessary, such as platforms around equipment. In contrast, grating clips are ideal for applications requiring easy removal and reinstallation, as they do not damage the zinc coating and are simple to dismantle.

Grating clips are suitable for all series of steel gratings and typically consist of a top clip, bottom clip, and an M8 bolt. For welded installations, the grating should be welded at each corner with a fillet weld no less than 20mm in length and 3mm in height.

Grating Clips Installation Method

When installing steel gratings with clips, several advantages can be achieved, such as avoiding damage to the zinc coating and ensuring easy removal for maintenance or replacement. Our factory provides specially designed grating clips that guarantee secure fastening while maintaining the integrity and appearance of galvanized gratings.

For proper installation, a minimum of four clips should be used for each grating panel, positioned at the corners to ensure stability. For larger panels, it is highly recommended to use additional clips wherever support structures are available. This not only enhances the overall safety and firmness of the installation but also extends the service life of the gratings by preventing displacement or loosening over time.
